Time Flies When You're Trying to Sleep Late

Some people just have a problem with waking up and being on time every morning.  It's not their fault, really; they just have a very strong reflex that causes them to lose consciousness whenever the prospect of waking up for the day seems imminent.

Everyone knows someone like this.  These are the people who throw their alarm clocks.  These are the people who unplug their alarm clocks and then remove the backup battery, all while in a deep sleep.  These are the people who you have to throw a glass of cold water onto if you want to have any hope of getting them out of bed on time.

Now, just for these people (and the people who love them), there's Clocky.  Clocky is a clever little device that makes sure you can't sleep in.  Basically an alarm clock suspended between two tires, Clocky jumps down from your bedside table and rolls away when you hit snooze one too many times.

The slightly anthropomorphic timepiece tears through your house, emitting beeps and various electronic noises to annoy you into waking up.  Once you decide that you really can't sleep through the racket, you're forced to get up and chase Clocky down.  Then, once you're out of bed to stop the beeping…well, you might as well just stay up, right?

The beautiful thing about Clocky is that its tolerance is customizable!  You can set the amount of time you have to snooze (from 0 to 9 minutes) and whether you get to snooze once or not at all before Clocky jumps from the table and starts his morning wake-up routine.

Clocky is just the thing for everyone who has given up hope of ever being anywhere on time.  At only $50 and available in several colors, it makes the perfect gift to subtly tell someone "come on time or don't come at all!"
