The "Anna G" corkscrew, is one of the most widely loved and recognized products ever developed by the world renowned Italian design company Alessi - and they have a couple thousand products!

It is rumored that the corkscrew was inspired by - and named after - designer Alessandro Mendini's girlfriend at the time. I don't know whether that is true, but in any event, it's the kind of design that just makes you smile when you see it.
