I spend a good deal of my time online. I fire e-mails off several times a day, chat, and work. Yes, the internet is an excellent tool to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. But I have to admit, it just isn't the same as giving and receiving a handwritten letter.

In a way, I'm glad that most of my family isn't internet savvy. It persuades me to write funny letters, thoughtful notes, and season's greetings on a regular basis. Call me old fashioned, but I love stationary! There's just something really appealing about it.

Forget about sending your relatives an e-card for the next occasion. It's so impersonal. If you really want to convey your sentiments, send them a handwritten card or letter. It just makes you feel good. Try it!
