Are You A Fan Of A Douglas Adams Fan?

Fans of the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy trilogy of five are easy to buy unique gifts for. This can be attributed to two things: One, there are a lot of great non-book things you can buy that will make your favorite HGTG fan mindbogglingly, deliriously happy. (Face it; they probably already have the trilogy in all its conceivable forms.) Two, many people don't know about pre-Hollywood Hitchhiker's Guide. This will make you an instant genius in this person's eyes. :-)

What sort of Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy schwag can you find out there? Oh, all kinds of things! You can get Adams quotes on shirts and bags. Some of the available quotes and signs are, "We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty", which probably has something to do with Vogons. It certainly has something to do with bureaucrats, and since Vogons are intergalactic bureaucrats in large yellow demolition spacecraft…well, there you go. :-)

You can get something that says "…it must be a Thursday", because Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy main character Arthur Dent 'never could get the hang of Thursdays'.

Another particularly nice saying only comes on a dark T-shirt. The t-shirt is made up of glowy-green words that say, "Do You Know Where Your Towel Is?" On a magnet, a golf shirt, or a yellow T-shirt, you can get an image of the Earth with the words "mostly harmless" written across the front. There are things with "Don't Panic" and "42" on them, and a "What Would Zaphod Do?" t-shirt with a white silhouette of the galaxy's favorite two-headed president.

And of course, there is a non-canon quote from the author himself, "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by".
